Love is an understatement!
With a background in athletic training, I started chiropractic school with a slightly different focus of helping athletes. Halfway through my education, I took the standard pediatric/prenatal class given to all chiropractic students and I was blown away at what I learned. This one class changed the course of my career and my life.
In addition to my chiropractic education, I began the intense three year training with the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association to specialize in pregnancy and pediatric care and received my Diplomate in 2008. I learned the Webster Technique from Dr. Jeanne Ohm and was certified in 2007. Even after achieving the highest level of training, I know there is so much more to learn and am always reading and finding more ways to offer mothers a safe and supportive environment.
I have spent my entire career loving being a part of so many expecting mothers' prenatal team. This is one of the most beneficial times for chiropractic care and I am so thrilled for the chance to care for you.
I am part of your team
As a mother of four, I understand the excitement, questions, and changes that come along with this special time. I have had four very different pregnancies and births and know that each experience is unique. In my office, we talk, we laugh, and we care for every mother with skill and gentleness.
I am here to support you, your baby, and your family with expertise, empathy, and understanding during a time you’ll always remember. Love makes a family and I welcome all families to my practice.
Most of my pregnant moms want their newborns checked after birth. If you would like this too, and when you’re ready to leave your nest, we schedule a quiet time to check baby after birth. I also care for many newborns who are directly referred to me by another practitioner.
We focus on spinal and craniosacral checkups to provide balance, relax tone and support nervous system development. Just like we adapt our care when baby is inside your belly, we do the same when baby is in your arms.
Assessment and analysis is a light and specific finger tip contact. Most of my babies sleep or eat through the whole process and its not uncommon for parents to report a deep relaxing sleep after an adjustment.
With over 15 years of experience and 12 years in central MA, I‘ve worked alongside some truly amazing practitioners to support you, your baby, and your family. As an extension of the care you receive at HCC, I highly recommend these resources to give you lots of love and support.
